There is almost little to none cross-border intellectual discourse in Europe. More people speak and read English, yet consume media from the UK and USA. Thousands of interesting writers and thinkers from Europe and elsewhere receive insufficient attention. Additionally, culture in the media is often treated as a consumer product: brief reviews with stars mainly advise whether something should be bought or visited. With our magazine, we provide a platform for writers who are not filtered or restricted by national and urban perspectives. We aim to foster more intelligent disagreements, cultivate positive disharmony, and create a vibrant diversity of voices. "Europe" deserves better critique.
